Lyn, I don't think any of our peculiar tribe would have a problem with stubbornness, arrogance, etc. Personally, I'm thankful for motivation in whatever form I can get it. I might have to take baby steps to reach that level of self-motivation, but I have found that just committing to someone other than myself keeps me motivated to write. I think the Victory Party is a great idea though. I'm finding that if I actually meet up with people (face to face) and promise to have something written, it holds me even more accountable. This was a great post! Maybe one day I'll have the resources (and the guts) to be as public as your friend. Oh if I could be so bold.
